Mechanical Engineering
The department was established in 1994. Now it is running with two sections of UG course and Post graduate course in M.E. CAD-CAM. Mechanical engineering is one of the basic engineering disciplines and it is integral part of all other industries and other branches of engineering. Mechanical engineering can see every walk of life and life without mechanical assistance is unimaginable which makes this branch stand out amongst all the field of engineering. This is an evergreen branch with immense opportunities for job and entrepreneurship. We at the Anuradha Engineering College constantly strive to impart industry practical oriented knowledge to the student in the field of designing, Manufacturing, Fluid power, Energy Conversion, Automobile, Heat Transfer etc.
Our students are placed in reputed organizations through campus recruitment like Indian Army, Mahindra and Mahindra, HSBC, TCS, VOLTAS etc. The departments has Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University recognized laboratory for carrying out Ph.D, research work and other research activities in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The department has Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), involved in various students social activities like Seminars, Industrial visits , Guest Lecture, for professional awareness, Personality development, etc.
The Department has twelve well developed equipped laboratories namely Fluid Power. Heat Transfer, Engineering Metrology, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Measurement System, Energy Conversion, Automobile Engineering, Nonconventional Energy Sources, Theory of machine, Automation Engineering, CAD/CAM, Workshop, Machinshop.
The Machine shop is well equipped with computer Numerical Controlled lathe (CNC) trainer, Electro Discharge Machine, Kirloskar trainmaster, Center less grinder, Radial drill machine, Spark erosion, HMT Heavy duty lathe,etc. The department has well developed CAD laboratory having modeling, simulation, and legal licenses of analysis software like CATIA, ANSYS, MASTERCAM,etc.
The department has independent library with good collection of Books, national and international journals along with study material for competitive examinations like GATE,GRE,TOFEL,CAT,MAT,UPSC,MPSC,etc.
The department offers elective subjects such as IC Engines, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Production Planning and Control and Machine Tool Design. It is as per the Latest trends and requirement of mechanical engineering industries.
